REGIONAL SCIENCE CONGRESS-
Regional
Science Congress is the integral part of the Navodaya Vidyalaya
Samiti. It was organisec three times in our Vidyalaya where the
participants of all JNVs of R.O., Patna covers three state
Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal participated to enrich the
interest towards science and technology. Many renowned
Scientists were invited to deliver lecture and inspires the
participants.
- Games
& Sports
Activity -
Different activities as Chess, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Football,
Volleyball, Kabbadi & Table Tenis etc. are conducted by the
physical teacher regularly. The students participate in Cluster
& Regional Meet, National Meet and SGFI every year.
A multi gym is also available where the students develop their
physique that is very helpful for the academic improvement.
Morning hours are utilized for jogging,
yoga aerobics,
calisthenics, gymnastics, mass PT and other physical exercises
involving all the children to warm up their body and muscles.

Department of music is shouldering the responsibilities of CCA.
• Co-curricular activities play a vital role in personality
development of a child. Various competitions are organized
throughout the year. All National and religious Festivals are
celebrated with true spirit.

CLASS ROOM ACTIVITY:-
Smart class
is having 40 laptops,10 tablets one printer with 24 hours
internet facility and a big wall screen T.V where the
teachers attend the virtual class in the presence of the
students by using the effective ICT tools in Education.
COMPUTER LAB is having
43 desktop computers with 24 hours broad band internet
facility where the student of Class VI to XII are learning
computers for their academic purpose.Not only that ,Class XI
and XII students may opted Computer Science as
their subject.
¨Computer
education program is very imperative to impart computer
skills to all students to familiarize them with a range of
computer applications and information processing and to
encourage teachers to use technology in a creative way.
¨Now-a-day,
Information and communication technology is an important
catalyst for social transformation and national progress.
Therefore knowledge of computer technology is essential to
achieve the utmost progress.
The computer education program is to be consecuted in our school
with the following objectives:
¨To
establish an environment to promote the uses of ICT in
Secondary and Higher Secondary schools in rural areas.
Ø
To enable the maximum opportunity to the widespread use of
devices, Internet and hence promote the ICT literacy.
Ø
To provide an effective learning environment for children
with special need through ICT tools.

understanding of science and technology is an essential
component of modernity that enables the children to examine
and analyze their everyday experiences. Science is both an
activity for generating knowledge about the natural world
and a set of ideas – the mental models of chemists,
physicists and biologists – about the origin and content of
that world and the interactions that take place in it.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti encourage to implement the CCA
component through Science Exhibition at every year start
from cluster level, passes through Regional and final at
National level. Regional venue and National venue is decided
by Samiti

school is recognised in its academic, social, cultural
and intellectual areas in local communities.
